A pilot deployment of PAMARES outdoor air purification technology in Itajaí, Brazil, has attracted coverage from Brazilian television news as local authorities and project partners evaluate its potential contribution to urban air quality improvement.

Developed by StaticAir and deployed in collaboration with local partner XZTech and municipal authorities, the pilot includes two PAMARES units installed in locations affected by significant vehicle traffic. One of the sites, located in the Cordeiros district, was selected due to its high concentration of truck movements associated with the city's logistics and port activities.
Over a six- to seven-week evaluation period, environmental and operational data will be collected to assess the technology's performance under real-world conditions and its ability to help reduce airborne particulate matter in heavily trafficked urban areas.

The initiative was recently featured by Balanço Geral Itajaí (RecordTV Brazil), which visited the project and highlighted both the air quality challenges facing the area and the innovative approach being taken to address them.
