PAMARES Technology Rolls Out in New York City

StaticAir is delighted to announce our participation in The NYC Smart City Testbed Program. We are thrilled to contribute to the improvement of air quality conditions in various New York City communities. Some neighborhoods experience higher levels of air pollution than others, and while the long-term solution lies in reducing the sources of emissions through the electrification of transportation and buildings, this transition will take many years of incremental progress. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is keen to explore innovative interventions to improve air quality.

Revolutionary Technology from the Netherlands

Netherlands-based StaticAir manufactures particulate matter reduction systems that attract PM2.5 – PM10 particles and pull them from the air. These advanced systems are now being deployed in New York City. Schools, playgrounds, and other spaces where vulnerable populations congregate can be fitting locations to install the PAMARES devices, ensuring the health and safety of the city's residents, especially the most susceptible.

A Collaborative Effort

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Paul Rothman and Briana Garcia for their unwavering support throughout this project. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in bringing this initiative to fruition.
