Ravestein B.V. is one of the Netherlands' leading manufacturers of large steel structures for maritime, offshore, infrastructure, and industrial projects. From its facility in Deest, the company produces everything from lock gates and bridges to offshore structures and RoRo linkspans.
Producing structures of this size requires extensive fabrication, welding, cutting, and finishing work. Every day, teams work across large production halls where heavy steel components are manufactured and assembled before being shipped to projects around the world.
As part of its commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace, Ravestein wanted to further improve air quality within its production environment.
Maintaining good air quality in a heavy steel manufacturing facility is very different from managing air quality in an office or a small workshop.
Production activities take place across large open halls, with multiple processes happening simultaneously throughout the day. Fabrication, welding, cutting, and finishing operations can all contribute to airborne particulate matter within the workplace.

Following installation, the system was fully commissioned and brought into operation within the facility.
